It’s not every day you get to write about a man who builds a ski field from his back yard, but that’s exactly what Peter Foote of Fairlie did forty years ago.
These days it’s an intergenerational thing with son, Bruce, running the show and grandson, Lochie, taking care of social media.
It’s hard to imagine this old dozer-driving, snow-loving Dobson legend will ever retire but if he does, he hasn’t just built a ski field; he’s built a legacy.
