On Top of the World

It’s not every day you get to write about a man who builds a ski field from his back yard, but that’s exactly what Peter Foote of Fairlie did forty years ago.

It’s hard to imagine this old dozer-driving, snow-loving Dobson legend will ever retire but if he does, he hasn’t just built a ski field; he’s built a legacy.

Story out now in the current issue of Latitude magazine. http://www.latitudemagazine.co.nz/40-years-atop-the-mountain-mt-dobson-skifield/
