It’s been a year since I wrote about the phenomenally talented Gislinde Folkerts, international award-winning floral designer.
While most of us can appreciate a bunch of pretty flowers or a leafy display of architectural greenery, Gislinde has an incredible ability to see the beauty in the plainest and most humble of winter offerings.
So this winter, I’m channeling my inner Gislinde and foraging for quieter textural tones – seed heads and earthy browns that speak of warmth and intimacy as the cold nights close in.
