Bunking In

I have a love-hate relationship with bunk beds – love their save-spacing, cram ’em in attributes; hate making the damned things!

But they have a place in our lives, especially when children are involved or at the bach where all sorts of stylish built-in bunk beds are becoming the go-to.

While a built-in bunk wasn’t a feasible option for this reno, an old set of shiny pine bunks were given a new lease of life with a lick of white paint. Throw in a driftwood ladder, some coastal wall colours and the textural scrumminess of linen and wicker and you’ve got yourself a spacious boho bedroom any girl child would love to spend time in.
